While most shops charge you for engraving on a per character basis plus an additional charge for logos, 123-Awards.com offers you both engraving and logo setup for free.
However, be aware that we might restrict the number of free proofs of your order. Please make a point of having your engraving information and artwork ready to go. We do not offer design services as part of the free engraving. Our policy is to not charge for changes based on the first proof produced. If you want to make additional changes in design and content that are not because of errors created by our production staff or process, then we reserve the right to charge a per-proof fee of $10 per proof.

What
You Will Need
If
you do not already have the names of the people who
will be receiving the awards, this would be a good time
to get them. You may also want to think about what it
is you would like the award to say (although we will
be supplying you with classic wording samples to choose
from).If
a company logo or other graphic is to appear on the
award, you should have this ZippedorStuffed on your computer ready to upload to our site. Please do not send scanned text.
Graphic
Requirements
Engraving
is different from most other printing processes. Where
your home or work printer may print in shades of grey
or in color, the engraving process works primarily in
black-and-white. Please check with your art department
for advice on how to produce artwork to the requirements
below.
Vector-based file with no embedded raster (bitmap) images. PC or Macintosh. Fonts should be converted to outlines or included with the order.
Raster (bitmap) file(s)
should be at least 300 dpi at the size you wish it
to print at
Please do not send us a scanned document or picture.
The
Process
Once
you click on the Checkout button in your shopping cart,
you will be taken through the signup/login process.
After logging in you will go to the Checkout page. Once
your order has been processed, we will capture your
engraving information.
Your
engraving information can either be emailed to us, or
you can upload your logo to our site then enter your
engraving directly.
Please
Note:If your
logo fails to meet the Graphic Requirements outlined
above, we will take a quick look at it and decide how much
work it will take to turn it into a usable graphic. If it
is simple, we will convert it for you. However, if it is determined
that the graphic requires substantial work, we will contact
you directly. Under these circumstances we may require a fee
for reworking your graphic. The
cost for this ranges from $25 to
$100.
